 It works for what I intended, but... June 16, 2010

This was advertised as 'fleece' but it is really flannel. Kinda stiffer than a fleece one but still warm and works. The cord from the wall outlet to the blanket is fine for where I use it, but I think that the cord from the blanket to the control should be about 2 foot longer. I put the plugin at my feet and the cord is too short to reach my upper body easily. I always have to pick it up off of the floor. The longer cord length from the wall to the blanket would enable me to have the blanket plugin up top by my face but that would be just too annoying.
But so far this throw works for what I needed it to work for and am overall satisfied.

I bought this blanket for my mother. She is a dialysis patient and the hospital is always freezing. The size of this blanket is that of a large throw and it's cords are long. It's perfect! It has brought my mother great comfort. I highly recommend it.

i stay in the south and it hard to find a good heatng blanket as they only show up around here one x a year and they disappear quick! well my BF knew i wanted one anyway oneday i open the mail and there was one in the mail for me and it is perfect and with three setting that all work great. it not too big. just the right size. i'll be taking this everywhere with me.

Great product. Second one I've owned. Gave first one to elderly friend with arthritus Instead of covering himself with the throw, he sets on his in his recliner. This keeps his body warm and reduces his pain!

Sunbeam heated throw is recommended for those who are sedentary, such as elderly, provided they are able to use such devices. Use can save money by reducing ambient heat.
Exterior quality of the throw is comfortable and attractive.
Electrical device is made in China and should last a reasonable time.
Newer version of this proven product will not get nearly so hot, a safety feature.
Guaranteed product can be repaired if failing within two years.
(Reviewer has owned several such throws and has experienced electrical failure in a newer throw which required return to the Sunbeam repair station.)
This product has a good range of settings and works well on low setting. The Sunbeam has a competitive price and good service on repair. Consumer should keep all order tickets and original box.
